artproject600wChild Development Activities – Provide a variety of engaging, child development activities that foster different aspect of a child’s physical, cognitive, social and emotional growth. All activities are developmentally appropriate and foster healthy and fun ways for parents to interact with their children. Onsite child development space designed to foster imaginative, sensory and exploratory play with quality materials during office hours. Our offices in Mt. Shasta and Weed offer a variety of Child Development Programs and Activities including Preschool Science, Early Childhood Art, Music and Movement, Holiday events and a weekly Parent and Child Interactive playgroup.

Playgroup – Join us in Mt. Shasta for our Monday morning Play and Learn Playgroup from 10:30 am to Noon and Thursdays at our Weed office from 10:00 am to 11:30 am. Our weekly playgroups are facilitated in Weed by early childhood educator Ana Fisher and include developmentally appropriate activities that encourage imagination and sensory and exploratory play in a fun and engaging environment.

Youth Projects – Work with local high schools to implement evidenced-based or promising practice curriculum including Committed Chapter and Girls Circle, designed to build resilience, develop leadership skills, implement youth-led projects to improve school climate and create campus support systems.  Offer a Summer Fun day camp in Weed for children ages 5-10 based on a variety of enrichment activities using science, nature, arts and physical fitness curriculum with an emphasis on FUN and PLAY.
